Celestial Nocturnes: Music of the Moon and the Stars

A program of songs from a dozen composers over three centuries, in seven languages, and in styles spanning Bel Canto, Romanticism, Impressionism, Arabic Folk, Broadway, and Jazz, presented by soprano Natalia Garmashova accompanied by David Keyes.

The common element of this collection is inspiration from, reflections on, or entreaties to the magnificent lights of the nighttime sky of what surely must be the most beautiful planet in the universe!  What other objects link its peoples of all cultures over all generations?
